Two Decades of Professional Writing/Editing Experience

I spent almost two decades as a newspaper reporter, bureau chief and editor, as well as a columnist and limited free-lance writing. I believe the best way to learn is hands on, the pupil needs to experience the effort and learn from the work involved, the effort is a teacher itself.
