I struggled with math as a young student. I remember always enjoying math, but I wouldn't earn high marks on tests. In college, I studied subjects like architecture and physics, but I was always drawn to math, so I changed my major and earned my Math degree from San Diego State University and Master's in education from Cal State Fullerton.
