Math is a human activity that can be learned by anyone.

My road to math was long and windy. Paying attention to lectures was a struggle when I was younger and the feeling of being overwhelmed and behind is very familiar to me. It wasn't until much later that I was exposed to a different way of thinking about math that was engaging enough to make me want to return to school and pursue a degree in mathematics.
