learn guitar for metal/anime/video game musics

I have taught students from ages of 8 through 15 mostly. My most recent student is 55. Been teaching since my early 20s and I have only taught in private 1 on 1 setting. My focus is on teaching proper technique and building good habits like how to hold the pick (i don't teach fingerstyle), how to hold the guitar standing vs sitting, how to avoid shoulder/arm cramps, and avoiding wrist injury.
