After spending a few semesters at Wake Forest University, I finished my bachelor's at Southern Methodist University (SMU) while working full-time. Then I began grad school at the University of Dallas (UD), where I ultimately earned an MA in English and a PhD in Literature (writing my dissertation on medieval philosophy and literature).
