Credentialed Math teacher and Excellent tutor

I have a degree in math education but when I really learned math conceptually was by teaching it. I have ten years of experience teaching math at the middle school and high school level at schools in LA. For at least eight of those years my focus has been on conceptual understanding rather than memorizing steps and remembering formulas.
