I was trained as a Waldorf teacher, with a belief that academics and the arts go hand in hand to build both knowledge and self-expression. My first degree was in painting and drawing from Pratt Institute, in New York City. I worked as a class teacher in grades K-8 and then taught art at the Cincinnati Waldorf School.
