Laurel is a junior and Rawlings Presidential Research Scholar at Cornell University, where she studies Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomaterials and Drug Delivery. She is also an honors graduate of nationally-ranked Lake Forest High School and a National Merit Scholar.
