Professional data scientist, former ecologist

I began my career with undergraduate and graduate (MS) degrees in both Statistics and Biology (focus on ecology). Since graduating I have been a statistician / data scientist for over 10 years. I have used SAS (early career) as well as python (more recently) and am familiar with current open source tools.
